Fusion Course: Self Paced E-Learning Option

Virtual Certified Pool Operator 2-Day Course

The Certified Pool Operator (CPO) certification is the industry standard for commercial pool and spa operations. This 1-day Fusion course option is designed for individuals who complete the online Pool Operator Primer® (POP) in advance and then attend a single day of live virtual or in-person instruction with an exam to earn certification. The Fusion format offers flexibility while still providing the benefit of real-time instruction.

Please note: Fusion is only available to those with Current CPO certificate. Not available to first-time certifications.

Course Format:

• Day: [Day of the week will vary by date selected]
• Time: 9:00 AM – 5:30 PM CST (includes breaks and exam time)
• Location: 100% virtual and In-Person Options available.

Class Materials:

A CPO Handbook and welcome packet will be shipped at least (2) weeks prior to class date. Temporary E-book are available for late registrations.

Online Primer Requirement:

Students must complete the Pool Operator Primer® (online self-paced course) before attending the live class. Access credentials for the Primer will be emailed after registration and must be completed to be eligible for the certification exam.

CEUs:

PHTA is an Authorized Provider of International Association for Continuing Education and Training (IACET) continuing education units (CEUs). Successful students will receive a personalized evaluation upon completion of the course. More information is available on the PHTA website.

Virtual Requirements:

Virtual delivery requires access to a computer with reliable internet and webcam. Students will attend lecture via Zoom and must be on camera for entirety of the class including the exam. Students will receive login credentials to take test via Prometric.
